In my blog about my Miracle Jar I mentioned that I was turning my gratitude writings into origami. I took photos of the first six to share with you!
The small pack of origami paper I bought came with instructions for folding a Rabbit, a Swam, A Fish and A Fox. The packaging claimed "...the methods of folding are well described." Maybe it is just me but I found this far from true! I struggled with folding all of them. On the first day I folded the swan and as you can see in the picture my swan looks nothing like their swan! The second day I folded the rabbit and while I did manage to complete it it is mostly due to a bit of guess work and trying random things... On the third day I tried to fold the fish and could not get past step 6 of 13. I tried lots of different things but no matter what I didn't I could do anything to make what I had in step six look anything like step seven. Finally on day four I did the fox and couldn't even make it to step three of ten! At this point I was determined to make a fox however so I turned to the trusty internet and found a YouTube Channel with lots of different videos with actually easy to follow instructions by a human who demonstrates as he explains! I also found Tavin's Origami Instructions it only has a few origami videos but they are great!

I put all the pictures I took into one picture using Photoshop. A good excuse to fiddle around with it!
Have you ever tried origami? Do you find it easy or hard to follow instructions? Share pics in the comments below if you have!
Bye for Now!
