Found another exciting text effect tutorial today and decided to use it for my word of the year. I didn't think it would look as nice if I tried to use it for a whole sentence. But I did end up trying it anyway and I do like the results! You can find the tutorial here.
Here are a few things I learnt along the way:
- The bigger the text the nicer the effect looks
- It is best not to have the second 'lighter' colour too light as this will make the top of the word very bright or possibly even white
- You can use two different colours
- It looks better if the words have solider tops like a B and not an I
- If you can find a different milky way picture that has more stars they will be more visible
Here's what I made:
Like I said I started off with my word of the year. I don't quite like the way the M looks so bright in the middle though.
Of course I had to try something in pink!
And I wondered what it would look like if I tried to leave it white - I used a light grey colour as the 'darker' colour.
And finally I wanted to get a little Loud!
But actually it was supposed to be red and seems it turned pink, even though I love it, I had to try again!
And later after being slightly inspired by the Business Goddess Course I started taking today by Leonie Dawson, I came back to the burst effect and made this!
I really like it! Of course that might just be because I am so inspired by what she said!
Check out my next blog post for more information on the Business Goddess Course. Let me know which word was your favourite in the comments below!
Bye for Now
